Government Polytechnic College Hoshangabad came into existence in 1995-96. It has been approved By All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV). This Polytechnic College is situated at Takniki Shiksha Parisar , Itarsi Road, just 3 kilometer away from railway Station and 2 kilometers from central bus stand of Hoshangabad city .This city is situated at the bank of holy Narmada river. The total area of the land of college is 10 acres with very attractive and clean and green environment. College is running in its main building. Hostel facilities are available for girls (SC/ST and Gen Categories students). It offers 3-year Diploma Course in Modern Office Management (MOM) with a total intake of 60 students. It is a NON PPT course and the admission is given on the basis of 12th examination marks. The candidate should have passed 12th or equivalent from any recognized board. Selection will be based as per the university norms. It was Women Polytechnic College initially. Later it was converted in to special co-ed college (Priority to Women). If seats are vacant against intake then admission can be given to boys.The college is growing day by day and emerging as one of the leading polytechnic institute of Madhya Pradesh. |
